Children (through grade 5)

Awana WinShape Forms Meet the Team SkyMiles Forms

Our mission is to help parents build a solid, Biblical foundation that will support their spiritual growth for years to come. We do this through our FLIGHT program:

Luke 6:47- 49 Everyone who comes to me and hears my words and does them, I will show you what he is like:  he is like a man building a house, who dug deep and laid the foundation on the rock. And when a flood arose, the stream broke against that house and could not shake it, because it had been well built. But the one who hears and does not do them is like a man who built a house on the ground without a foundation. When the stream broke against it, immediately it fell, and the ruin of that house was great."

The Children's Wing

Our Kids in FLIGHT ministry has three distinct areas in our children's wing dedicated to serving infants & toddler, preschoolers, and elementary age children. By dividing them into these age groups, we can best meet their spiritual needs through age appropriate teaching styles.

Safety

Your children's safety and security is of utmost importance to us. For that reason, we have a state of the art check in system with a specific drop off and pick procedure. All volunteers and staff undergo background checks. We will always have a minimum of two servants in each room. The children's wing is kept locked during the worship service with our greeting team maintaining security until the service ends.

Curriculum

Our curriculum is ever changing and evolving but always grounded solidly in the Word. We strive to seek out the best communicators so that our lessons are presented in a fun and engaging way the kids will remember.

For our elementary age kids, we have recently developed our own curriculum that focuses on breaking the kids intosmaller groups where they move through CONNECTIONS. A typical Sunday will begin with arrival games, announcements, a short large group teaching, and finishing with a rotation through 3 connections. Connections are where we are able to go deeper with the children than we would be able to in a large group.

Preschoolers join together in Wee Worship where they sing songs, memorize Bible verses and learn Bible stories. They also enjoy simple crafts, games, indoor toys, and the playground.
