Taste of Heritage
To celebrate the kick-off of our one service for the summer, join us on May 21 as we host A Taste of Heritage!
What is #oneplace2017?
Beginning Sunday May 21, Heritage will move to one service for the summer. One service is a way for us all to gather each Sunday @ 10:00AM for church, then have the remainder of the day to enjoy your family and the summer. All programming remains in place, we just do it once at 10:00.
What is A Taste of Heritage?
A Taste of Heritage is an event, on the Heritage Square that will showcase favorite foods and specialty dishes from Heritage people.
Who can participate?
Anyone can showcase their favorite dishes, but we encourage all Life Groups, Women’s Bible Study Groups, Men’s Groups, & Service Groups to join in the fun, by sharing bite-sized tastes of their favorite dishes
What is needed to participate?
Register your table by clicking below. Once registered, begin planning your table. Every registrant will get an approximate 60” round table with an identification sign. If groups have the 10’ x 10’ pop-up tents we encourage you to bring it and cover your table. Each group will need to provide their own sample cups, bowls, plates, etc.
What is expected of us?
No strings attached! We want to create a friendly, fun, environment where our people can connect, get to know each other and experience some great food/snacks.
Things to consider:
- Prizes will be available for categories of:
- Consider printing recipe cards to hand out if someone wants your recipe.
- Use this event to meet new people. Consider inviting those you meet to your summer group socials, if you do not have any summer group socials planned, plan some!
- Consider making plans with those you meet to see them again at our Summer nights; movie night on June 15, and canoe night on July 27, and other summer fun events and connections
