Christmas Shoe Boxes for Mexico
Please join us this year in collecting items for a children’s ministry in Matehuala, Mexico. This year our Christmas Shoe Boxes will go directly to this mission and they will send pictures and stories back to our Awana Club. Heritage’s Life Mission Pastor, Dave Damron, has been associated with this mission for ten years and we are happy to support these children this year.
Pick-up flyers at our Café, Children’s Check-in, Welcome Center and The Link this weekend. Our goal is 200 Christmas boxes.
Wrap a shoe box and fill it with goodies. Please include at least $5 to cover the shipping cost. Remember to pray for the child who will receive your gift.
Gift Suggestions:
School & Craft Supplies: colored pencils & sharpener, notebook paper, ink pens, construction paper, glue, scissors, solar calculator, stickers, paint tray, etc.
Toys: glow sticks, ball, small cars, plastic animals, kazoo, harmonica, yo-yo, jump rope, slinky, doll, toy jewelry, etc.
Hygiene Items: toothbrush & paste, mild bar soap, washcloth, comb, brush, etc.
Misc. Items: hard candy, lollipops, mints, gum, t-shirt, socks, ball cap, sunglasses, hair clip & bands, watch, underwear, personal note & photo
Boxes must be turned in by Sunday, November 29th.
