Small Groups
Your Road to Community - Small Groups are your most effective way to connect with others and with Christ. We offer a variety of groups, open to all stages of life to assist you in finding community.
At Heritage we believe Small Groups are the most effective way to connect with other believers. We are convinced that to get big you have to first get small, that’s why we encourage all our people to belong to a Small Group.
Small Groups are weekly or twice a month meetings of 12-16 people who “do life together” through fellowship, Bible study, prayer and accountability. Groups normally meet September through May, but we do have groups that meet year round. We help each other through the speed bumps in the road of life through prayer and offering our time and talents to those in need.
If you’ve been looking for a way to feel better connected, joining a Small Group is the best place to start!
What are you looking for?
Bible study and relationship building: LIFE GROUPS
The mainstay for our Small Groups Ministry. In-home meetings are available almost every night of the week and on campus during Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings.
Comfort through life’s bumps along the highway: CARE GROUPS
Based on biblical principles to help you get reacquainted with yourself, your family and your Lord and Savior. These weekly groups meet various nights of the week, but are predominantly on Wednesdays.
Going deeper and spiritual development: SHARE GROUPS
Group studies vary in length and include topics such as Blended Families, Next Step after Divorce Care, and Financial Health.
Community with people of similar interests: DARE GROUPS
Groups meet monthly for an event (motorcycle ride, running, fishing, sewing, or other hobbies) and share in a project or activity, then have a few moments of devotion and prayer.
Short-term groups for those new to group life: LAUNCH GROUPS
Designed for those people not in a Life Group, new to group life or new to HCC seeking to learn more. Short-term studies and sermon-based studies are available.
