Adult Education
Sunday Study Groups
Adults have a variety of choices when it comes to weekend services at Heritage! We all win when we come together in Jesus’ name. The Adult Education Ministry is designed to equip you with knowledge and skills you can use to share the love of Christ with others. Classes are fun, informal and set in a relaxed atmosphere.
All classes meet Sundays (unless otherwise noted) in “The Brick” and are
designed for you to join at any time.
Adult Bible Study Group – Steve Geyer
This group will be offered during BOTH hours on Sunday mornings. Join us during one hour to build your faith and participate in the worship service during the other hour. You also have the opportunity to serve in a variety of ministries during one of the hours you aren’t participating in a study group or worship service. 9:30 am in Room 108
Singles Bible Study Group – Chad Wallace
The Singles’ Bible Study Group provides a place for young adults to fellowship with other like-minded people. Studies will focus on topics related to singleness, Christian faith and other challenges faced in everyday life. A Small Group for Singles is also available. 9:30am in Room 109
Real Family Life Study Group – Jonathan Gillis
Real Family Life is a group of married Christ followers seeking to improve their relationships with their spouse, children, and most importantly with God. The studies and discussions will center on honest and practical ways to better these relationships. A hallmark of this class is the welcoming atmosphere, honesty in the teaching and the reality with which the members approach living a Christian life. In January, they will be starting a study meant to prepare your heart for the celebration of Easter, bring a deeper meaning to the season, and to draw you closer to Jesus. 11:00am in Room 109
Discovering Heritage - Jim Sloderbeck
Next Class: May 9th, 16th, 23rd
What kind of church is this? What does it mean to be a Christian? If I become a member, what does Heritage expect of me? If you have questions like these, Discovering Heritage is a place to get answers. During this three-week class, we’ll talk about the mission of God’s church at Heritage, discuss some key beliefs and values of this church family, and give you a chance to get connected and ask questions. 11:00 am, Room 107 in the Brick.
What Now? Lunch -
If you are a new guest to Heritage, have been baptized into Christ at Heritage or have placed your membership here since January 1, 2010 we want to invite you to a “What Now?” Luncheon on Sunday May 23rd at 12:30pm in the Ethos cafe.
