In today’s fast-paced culture the need for families to have more options in their child’s education is paramount. Over the last several months, we have been prayerful about adjustments we can make to help better meet the needs of you and your family. Our goal is to continue the tradition of excellence in early childhood education and project forward in growth in the coming months and years. Starting in the fall of 2013 you’ll notice the following changes:
- Heritage Christian Academy is pleased to announce the addition of Kindergarten to our program. This will reflect our continued commitment to excellence and to serve the families in our community.
- Communication is important to us. Our website may be accessed by typing HeritageAcademyOnline.com into your browser. You may also call the Academy office at 678.782.4137.
- The daily school schedule will remain from 9am-12 pm for Moms Morning Out and Preschool classes with an option to stay until 1pm. Kindergarten hours are from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m on Monday through Thursday. Fridays, Kindergarten will release at 12 p.m. and have the option of enrichment class from 12 p.m. until 1 p.m. The same great programmatic elements of music, art, Spanish, PE and chapel will still be provided and included in the tuition cost. Kindergarten will also include computer lab.
- Preschool students will have the option to stay until 1pm with additional scholastic programming that will include “Friends at Play,” Science Lab, Gymnastics, and “Fun in the Kitchen.” Each option will take place on various days of the week, which will be announced in the monthly newsletter.
Pre-registration for the 2013-2014 school year for students that are currently enrolled begins Monday, February 25. Please see our registration forms that may be downloaded at this site under Enrollment. Open enrollment begins on Monday, March 4.
The Heritage Christian Academy staff and I are excited about what lies ahead for the future of our school, and we’re glad to have you as part of our academy family.
