Missions

mission_insert_globeJesus told His followers, “Go, and make disciples of all nations.” Unless we “GO” outside of our comfort zone, unless we experience the risk of trusting Him, we’ll limit the transformation that Christ wants for us in this lifetime. To “GO” means to leave what is familiar and safe, for that which is “dark” and “dangerous.”

Christ’s example as recorded in Philippians 2:1-11 is listed for our motivation and inspiration. As we follow His example, we understand more fully what He meant when He said, “It is more blessed to give than to receive.” (Acts 20:35)

Heritage Christian Church is committed to expanding God’s Kingdom, forming other self-replicating communities of Faith, and mobilizing all members to fulfill their life mission.

YOU are a vital, significant part of Jesus’ Kingdom. YOU have been gifted and entrusted with abilities, resources and opportunities to serve the Lord by serving others. Jesus said as recorded in Matthew 25:40, “I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.”
