The Worship Arts Ministry at Heritage seeks to bring genuine praise and worship into our services. We want to help people hear and recognize God’s voice in their hearts through worship. With relevance, high energy, and reverence, this ministry works to honor our Father by using our talents for His glory. We are looking for instrumentalists, vocalists, actors, and writers, as well as those who enjoy working behind the scenes in the production of our services doing audio, video, lighting, set building. Plus, if you have a passion to welcome visitors and desire to help prepare communion, we would love to get you involved.

Praise Team Band:
A skilled instrumental group, capable of keeping consistent rhythms, as well as accurately play chord and/or rhythm patterns selected to lead in worship services. They must be able to accompany a worship leader, flow with a group of musicians, and follow the leading of the Holy Spirit.
Praise Team Vocals:
A selected vocal group, capable of holding the melody or harmony parts of music, utilized to lead in worship services. They blend their individual styles with the rest of the singers, have a heart for worship, and are willing to lead by example (i.e. clapping, singing, shouting, dancing, lifting of hands, kneeling, bowing and standing).
Praise Choir / Ensemble:
A ministry team of singers, open to all interested, utilized to lead in worship services and provide special music as scheduled. They minister in song during the worship services, holiday productions, and other special events when the opportunity arises.
Technical Arts Team:
A ministry team of individuals providing audio, projection, lighting and IMAG/camera reinforcement in worship services. They achieve the desired sound mix, visual media presentation (worship and sermon PowerPoint slides, video clips, etc.), house and stage lighting effects, worship and speaker images on the sanctuary screens as captured by multiple camera stations during the service. This team is open to all interested and they receive technical instruction from the Worship Arts leadership.
A team of interested and talented persons serving in this area of ministry who would participate in production, directing, acting, set design, etc. This team is open to all interested and they receive appropriate instruction from the Worship Arts leadership depending on the position of involvement.
Server/Usher Team Team:
A ministry team, open to all interested, that administers the communion elements, gathers tithes and offerings and assists people in finding seats.
Communion Prep Team:
A ministry team, open to all interested, that prepares the communion trays for the weekend worship services. A team member prepares the trays on Friday or Saturday, and then cleans and stores them away following Sunday services.
