The Fultz Family Comes to Heritage
Sunday, January 3, 2010, was an electric and inspiring day at Heritage. Doug, Kerry, Tyler, Kaitlyn, Madison, and Harrison Fultz became a part of the Heritage Christian Church family. It has been both amazing and humbling to see how God has worked through the lives of the Fultz family, as well as the Heritage family to bring the two of us together.
We’d like to share wi
th you the outpouring of love that was seen this week. Bob Carroll, one of our elders, led a group of men to Franklin, Tennessee last Friday to begin the process of helping the Fultz’ move to Peachtree City. Beginning with a miscommunication of “who will bring the truck?” many fun and sweet stories were in the making.
After arriving in Peachtree City with a truck convoy on Saturday evening, Doug and his family made their official debut at Heritage. Kaitlyn and Tyler joined in with the Worship Team Sunday morning, and Doug delivered a powerful message to begin his ministry here.
Following the worship service, many made their way to the Fultz’ new residence to help with the unloading of three rental trucks. The biggest challenge then became trying to find a parking space on their street!
More than 100 people from Heritage arrived, along with a God-orchestrated moving team from A Better Way Ministries who just “happened” to be visiting Heritage today. As Ed Richardson shared, “This is my first God-sighting of 2010!”
In less than two hours, all three trucks had been unloaded–even the one that included the hot tub! It was an amazing display of teamwork.
As unloading came to a close, Ed Richardson and Bob Carroll led us all in prayer. It was a sweet time of praise and thankfulness to God.
So, welcome, Fultz family - and get ready, Peachtree City. Heritage is on the move!

Hello everybody at Heritage Christian Church. Thank you so much for such a warm welcome you all gave to Fultz family. We at Franklin Christian Church wish you all a great year ahead. It is a bitter sweet moment for us, its hard to let them go but we are happy to see them doing God’s will. He is an awesome minister, as you all know now. Would love to visit your church sometimes. You all are in our prayers, please keep us in yours.
I think our grandson Bo said it best when he said “usually I pray at the start of a service that the Holy Spirit will be present but I didn’t have to pray today, He was evident!” We are truly a blessed church.
Also, because of the labor and love of 25 or 30 people, the Fultzes moved into a home that was spotless-even the blinds!, a yard that was mowed and raked, [some of] the gutters cleaned, signs and balloons all over the front yard, and the pantry and refrigerator were “pounded” full of food and supplies. Amazing!
